Remote Working in COVID – Get Ready

Start Planning With Us Now
Some of the larger organisations have employees working from home already, but are you ready for your employees to work from home? With self isolation being encouraged by the Government, your company could be at risk of falling behind if you are not prepared for remote working.
The worst thing that could happen is an employee to bring it into the office and spread throughout your workforce. Businesses are required to ensure employees are able to self isolate should they need to, and may wish for employees to have the option to work from home in order to help prevention.
Now is the time to think, here’s what you should consider…
Internet Access
Do your employees have sufficient internet access at home or do they require a mobile dongle?
Communication
Do you use Office 365 and make the most of the collaborative tools including Microsoft Teams?
Do you have a Cloud Telephone System meaning you can take your phone home and use as if you were in the office?
Do you provide employees with Mobile Solutions so they have a portable use of telephone/ text communication at all times?
Access to Files
Can you access your files in the office or in the cloud?
Access to Applications/ Software
Do you have access to your software applications remotely?
Access to Emails
Do your employees have suitable equipment such as Laptops/ PC’s/ Tablets/ Mobiles for them to be able to access their emails?
Meetings
Do you have a Cloud Telephone System to hold a conference call?
If you already have a Office 365 then you should have a lot of the tools already communication-wise as they are packed with plenty of features, however you may need some help/ support on use and setup.
