Training Opportunites at CJBFC

As an FA Charter Standard Club, we are very keen to help volunteers develop their football skills and use them to help CJB teams. We will pay the fees for anyone taking the FA level 1 coaching certificate, and will pay half the fees for a Level 2 certificate. In each case we will ask for reimbursement if the coach leaves the Club within 12 months of gaining their qualification.

For all qualified coaches we will pay for emergency aid and child protection training and for periodic renewals of those certificates. We will also pay for CRB checks for all volunteers that need it.

We will happily consider helping volunteers to pay for courses if there is a need for new skills in the Club, for example, we need coaches qualified on the new FA age appropriate scheme and the FA Youth programme.

There are lots of different courses available (psychology, refereeing, soccer parent), go to www.thefa.com/GetIntoFootball/FALearning http://www.thefa.com/GetIntoFootball/FALearning to see what the FA has to offer. Some are on-line, some are free. If you need advice, try the FA web site, or speak to Steve Coe or Oliver Couch on the contact us page.
